Bi-Fold Swing Gates
If you would prefer swing gates, but lack the depth of space to accommodate the full-size version, we can install bi-fold gates instead. These are swing gates that are cut in half and fold back on themselves when opening. This means they use around half the depth of space required for normal swing gates. Whatever the style of gate you’re looking for – metal, wood, wrought iron – we can adapt them to the bi-fold structure.
Sliding Gates
The great advantage of sliding security gates is that cars can drive right up to them, rather than having to leave space for the swing opening. If your property is close to the road, therefore, sliding automatic gates are a great option. They’re also perfect for inclined, or small driveways. The gates run on a track that is laid across the front of your property and can be fitted with a motor that provides the speed of opening you require.
Telescopic Sliding Gates
It’s not only the depth of a driveway that can prove challenges, we also regularly encounter insufficient space on either side of the drive to install sliding gates. Where this occurs, the 1st Choice team suggest the innovative telescopic sliding security gate. This design splits the gate into two or three parts that slide back next to each other. This arrangement requires far less lateral space than traditional sliding gates.
Curved Electric Gates
Curved electrical gates are an elegant solution for clients whose driveway aperture is both shallow and narrow, whilst also being bounded by gateposts. A lateral slider track won’t work, therefore, and swing gates would hamper entry. We design the track to accommodate the gate posts, and the specially designed electric gate slides the curves along the side of the drive to facilitate opening and closing.
