A door entry system allows householders to speak with, or view visitors before granting them access to their home. 1st Choice provides a range of door entry systems that allow for identity checking without having to open the front door.
The majority of door entry systems comprise an external panel fitted with audio or video functionality. This connects to one or more handsets inside the house which allow for a conversation to take place. If the visitor is authorised, the door is released using a button on the handset. More complex models allow for video monitoring, and multiple door operation.
